Jana Grimes, MA, LMHC, CDP

Jana Grimes, LMHC, CDP is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Chemical Dependency Professional who works with adolescents and adults to find ways to improve their lives and lessen their burdens. After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington, Jana went on to receive her Master’s Degree at Northwest University in Counseling Psychology where she completed an internship at Providence Hospice.
Jana has spent the past decade working in the mental health and addiction field. She received extensive training while working for the University of Washington in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and psychosis along with Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA) for anxiety, depression and trauma. Along with CBT and CETA, Jana utilizes strategies from ACT, Solution Focused Therapy, Systems Theory, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. She believes in meeting the individual where they are and adjusting treatment to meet specific, unique needs.
